Why 19/29?
Read it as a year or as chemistry: both are in every bottle.
1929
The cocktail’s golden age
In 1929 America was deep in Prohibition (1920–1933). Cocktails went underground into speakeasies, and many of America’s best bartenders took their craft to Europe, where cocktail culture took off.
Element 19
Potassium
A mineral found naturally in fresh fruit, from the citrus in a sour to the grapes behind wine, where it forms the tartrate crystals known in the kitchen as cream of tartar.
Element 29
Copper
The metal of the pot still. Copper reacts with sulphur compounds in the vapour, so the spirit comes off cleaner and smoother. And it’s the metal of the Moscow Mule mug.

Angel De Sousa
From the Portuguese coast to London’s most iconic bars, he built a career on connecting people through extraordinary drinks. His vision was simple: cocktails should always feel special, whether poured at a five-star bar or from a perfectly designed bottle at home.
